One of the most anticipated celebrations in Davao City has finally hit the ground – the 81st Araw ng Davao. How fast has the time flown, Davao is now on its 81st birthday jampacked with trade fairs, cultural presentation, parades, food parks, and of course beauty pageants and many more to cater the long weekend off of locals and tourists. Truly, it befits the largest city in Mindanao.
MX3 with GMA joined the festivity bringing another bundle of joy in the City of Davao with their 2-day pasabog. A plus, the Kapuso Stars who casts The Cure Jennylyn Mercado and Tom Rodriguez and the casts of The Stepdaughters Megan Young, Mikael Daez and Katrina Halili serenaded the crowd at SM City Davao Annex last March 16. Followed by the casts of Sherlock Jr. Andre Paras, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid and Kate Valdez brought smiles to a lot of Davaoeños who filled the activity center of Abreeza Mall Davao the next day, March 17.
But, obviously the show will be incomplete without MX3 sharing laughter and cheers with the Davaoeños as they give them a quick MX3 Hooray! game and the newly implemented game called Iwas-iwas ang Sakit with MX3 wherein 20 participants of each game and even the whole activity centers were just filled with joy. They all brought home their share of MX3 gift packs, although 5 winners of each get to win the special gift packs.
